A la protesta se han unido diversas organizaciones de marinos mercantes, sindicatos y colegios de marinos ya que consideran que la iniciativa es inconstitucional por extender las atribuciones de la Secretar\u00eda de Marina(Semar) en \u00e1mbitos que la constituci\u00f3n restringe. Incluso han enviado un comunicado al Gobierno Federal y a las diversas c\u00e1maras manifestando su rechazo en\u00e9rgico a esta iniciativa.
